AIR 90 is virtually invisible with 84% light transmission. AIR 80 has a very subtle blue tint that most people do not notice unless looking for it. Both films are designed to be as undetectable as possible while providing real protection.
Is AIR clear film legal on windshields in Florida?
Yes. Florida allows non-reflective tint on the windshield above the AS-1 line (top 6 inches). Because AIR film is virtually clear and non-reflective, it can typically be installed on the full windshield without legal issues. However, we recommend checking with local authorities for the most current regulations.
How does AIR compare to tinted ceramic films like CTX or IRX?
AIR uses the same nano-ceramic technology as CTX and IRX but without the color. AIR 80 rejects 60% of infrared heat (compared to 72% for CTX and 88% for IRX). The trade-off is invisibility: AIR lets you add protection without changing your vehicle's appearance.
